5 in the morning on a Sunday. Am I crazy?

Yes I am crazy. Or maybe not? After all this is my new baby. The business that is.

I catch myself  frustrated  when I have put in a 14 to 18 hour day between managing my fan page and keeping followers. Which by the way fan pages are like space in a storage room. They get lost. Unless you have a strong following of friends that show interest in the product you are marketing. Nobody is interested. Even going as far as to let you know they aren't interested and to stay  friends. You better not try to get them to buy anything. Which was never your intention. Bottom line with that. Friends aren't your best customers. Unless they share your ideas about owning and operating home businesses.

Now to other issue that each of us just starting out. Is the workings of social sites. Though these are some of the tools you want in your chest. Again its a fine line. When in business for yourself  its is great to make all of the connections. Meeting positive people as I have met so many. Still knowing that your follows are only based on the content you post. Too much frivolity makes you less credible of course. Staying too much to topic makes you less approachable.

I think the only thing we can do is continue to be students. We need to stay flexible to new ideas and approaches. Stubbornness has no place in business.

These are a few of things I have learned in my first 2 weeks. I wish each of you success in your new venture.

Have a great week

Working hard and finding resources that work

As I sit here all I can think about is how to make my home business explode. Just starting out I knew there would challenges. Such as is my products marketable, whats the competition, and where I can come up new ways to get myself out there. And believe me between checking my Facebook fanpage, Twitter, and keeping updated on new products and services I find myself  going in circles.

I thought maybe starting a blog about my journey would be a great way to show the honesty of how its not just work its a passion. I know that many can relate. With many of us leaving the 9-5 grind of a everyday job. We all share the american dream of making it in business. So we can enjoy our families and see our ideas become reality.

Here are a few things that I have found to be of great help to me.

But as with any business its trial and error.

1 Using a Fivver.com to get promoted in your business. By someone else getting the likes and follows on your page.

2. Branch out when marketing a product. Think about convenience for your consumers. Especially when the products are usually marketed towards in home demonstration.

3   Do reconnaissance. Find out why your product is so in demand, why its not , and apply that to change your plan of attack. Often times reading others blogs can help you understand what the consumer wants.

4 Don't be afraid to ask for help. Sometimes your own family and friends may be able to give you a prospective you hadn't thought about. Use your wealth of knowledge. The people around you want success for you. Be open to others ideas.

5 Get around the mountain. Like the little engine that could. Slow and steady to reach your goals. See an obstacle then get creative about how to get around it. Again think outside the box. We as new home business owners have so much wealth of knowledge between the internet and other people who have been where we are now.

I hope the information has been helpful. I wish each of you great success in your new venture. I will be keeping you updated on what I am doing. And love to hear back your insights, suggestion, and how your doing.

I will be blogging again very soon.

Have a great day!
